How to report a concern about the condition of the subdivision
Reporting concerns to the Franklin Valley Association board
The authority of the Franklin Valley Association Board over conditions in the subdivision is limited by our architectural guidelines. The guidelines include things like animals & pets, sight distances at intersections, trailers, signs, fences, and more. Please read the guidelines to see if your concern is covered by the guidelines. The Board also has authority over landscaping and fences in common areas (including along 14 Mile and Middlebelt) and snowplowing the roads in the winter. If your concern is something that the Board can address, please report your concern by e-mailing board@franklinvalley.org.
Reporting concerns to West Bloomfield Township code enforcement
For concerns that do not fall within the Franklin Valley Association Board’s authority to address, please refer to the West Bloomfield Township municipal code and ordinances to see if your concern is covered there. The municipal code and ordinances include things like residential rentals, noise regulations, swimming pools, lawn and weed overgrowth, and more. To report a complaint regarding a blight condition, suspected building or zoning violation, damage to an environmentally protected area or any other code related concern in West Bloomfield Township, go to the code enforcement website.

Use of dues
The two largest expenses for our subdivision paid for by dues are landscaping and maintenance of common areas and snowplowing of roads.
Payment of dues
Dues can be paid by cash or check (make checks out to Franklin Valley Association) delivered to the treasurer.
Dues can also be paid by Venmo using this link or scanning the code below. When paying by Venmo, please add 3% to your amount due to cover processing fees.
